I went to Stardust Speedway race level and added MetalSonic as a bot. As soon as I started running, it was like Metal Sonic was racing me. I know he wasn't...but it was fun because it was like he was.

This topic is pretty pointless, it's nothing special and...

OH FORGET IT >.<!

Heh, neat idea. You should get a screenshot and post it in the funky screenshots topic.

I kinda did....

Instead of a screenshot...I may record something so you can see....

:? umm....does recorddemo allow people to see what I am doing if I post it???

Never mind...1. I got the name wrong. It is timedemo
2. It won't let me record a demo in a netgame
3. I cannot use bots in single player mode.

race against tails then :D

This way it looks like Sonic's winning. With a small code modification, it might be possible to make it look like Metal's winning. With some more modifications, it might be possible to make it look like they're swerving in and out with each other.

Or you could just give Metal a pre-determined path to run on like Sonic CD does.

actually, you can give metal sonic a pre-determined path, just set a big line of rings, and you follow the path of rings, with metal sonic

I was thinking more along the lines of an invisible object. Once he reaches the first "invisible checkpoint", he starts moving toward the next one. Kinda like how Zoom Tubes work.
