Basically, Im trying to make textures look realistic.
I have screenshots..

OLD:

The old one i made first..but things were too..cel shady.
Then i decided... Hey I should make it darker, which is the new one.
FeedBack/Advice is wanted.

The textures look somewhat decent, but not realistic. The older ones actually look better. If I were you, I'd try to make all textures cel-shady.

Alright, ill keep it towards that.
I might make a set of md2 textures for the mod too, cel shady and whatnot.
 
the brighter part of the wall could be toned down a little... I will now douse the burning in my corneas.

I know I said that terribly, but you can see the sudden changes in color in the screenshot in the above posts.
 
Uhh, you realize that the palette is changing in v2.0, right? You'll either have to redraw all of these or find a way to convert them once it comes out.

Seems kinda weird that you'd release this 6 days before v2.0.
