Bugfixes have been releasing for some addons i have and i just want to know how to patch my addons without deleting saved data for them.

How to update an addon without deleting the saved data?

Just download the new update and replace the old addon file. Save data is stored in .ssg files, not the addon itself.

and in terms of things like character mods, iirc your save data for them is stored in a folder called “luafiles” in your srb2 folder, so you can just make a backup by copying the save data for your character which (again, iirc) is a folder named after the character found in luafiles
