What that means is that you must make a control sector, then select one lindef and make it lindef type 301, Each Time. Click the next unused tag button and remember the tag. Then, you must select another lindef on the sector and change it to lindef type 412, Teleport player to tagged sector. Click the next unused tag button and remember the tag. Then use the first tag you remembered on the sector that will activate the teleport and also make sure that the sector is Trigger Lindef Executor Anywhere In Sector. Next place an object (thing) called teleport destination inside of the destination sector and give that sector the second tag you remembered. Then test it out and see what happens! :)
Also, you might want to have a beam of light on the teleporter, right? Well to do this create a new control sector that has a floor height of 0 and a ceiling height of 5000 (To make sure the beam hits the ceiling). Next give one lindef on that sector the type 211 - Translucent & intangible and the first tag that you remembered. (The same tag that is on the teleport activator. Next go into 3d mode (Switch in/out of it using "W") and click the wall of the giant pillar looking thing. Select yelwal or whatever you want as the wall. Then test.
