How to make colors changable

I made some character WADs for SRB2 Kart, but their color palettes stay the same when I want to change their color palettes

I must have forgotten to add something to do with it in SLADE...

Can anyone tell me what to do to make the color palette changeable?

Finally! Thank you soo much for giving that Information. I was trying to make a character but the color palette wasn't chaging at all.
