How to exit heat wave effect?

I started using special effects and had a problem with the heat wave effect. The effect should be deactivated automatically or I have to add a special linedef or something?

All places tagged with the Heat Wave will have a heat wave. It appears that you have it tagged to everything. Just give it it's own tag and give all of the sectors you want a heat wave that same tag.
