Mystic's right. You need to think about the players more than about how the map works. For instance, see if you can make the spring bounce higher than necessary (using a red one rather than a yellow); and even if you didn't want the player to bounce that high... That's life. Give the player freedom. Of course, I'm not saying you shouldn't limit. But it's just like Mystic said, it gives a slap in the face of SRB2 veterans.
But it will be appreciated if you figure out an original and imaginative way to work around. Take the 3 spring combo on GFZ2 for instance.
