How to change Microsoft XP Icons?

Yeah well, since I started playing Skulltag online and downloading a new version of it, most of my computer´s icons have turned into that ugly-ass Skull face, and it´s really annoying, so I was wondering if there was a way to change that icon back to how they were before or something.

(Google didn´t help at all, there´s no guide to change Icons for an specific format)

Have you tried changing the color depth?

Icon cache is corrupted. You need to clear the icon cache.

Download Tweak UI to do this.

....or, just restart your computer. Huzzah.

After I shutted down SRB2 just yesterday, all my icons (or at least 90%) started to turn into dat file icons or whatnot. I had to restart TWICE! :<

Ahem, it´s not exactly that, I already know that sometimes, icons change to another random icon when shutting down a game, but this time it´s permanent, all wad files now have ¨Doom Data File¨ on them, and some of them are not even wads.

Right click on the file, select Properties, find Opens with..., click Change, select the program to open the wads with (like XWE or something) and the icon will change to that program's instead of Skulltag's.
