How can I play the game in OpenGL mode?

Start the game. You cant avoid it, the game will start on Software renderer, but you can change it. On the title screen, select options, then go to video options, then renderer. Turn it to OpenGL.

IF your PC is so bad that the game symply won’t start if youre on Software (i highly doubt thats the case) you may need to change that option outside of the game, in the files. It’s pretty easy. Just tell me if that’s the case, so I can guide you through it.

press f10 if you’re on windows

Yeah, thats the shortcut to the Renderer toggle

If that doesn't work you can always edit the config.cfg.

Exactly what I was talking about.
All you would need to do is open it with notepad and find the renderer option, and then type OpenGL instead of Software
