How do you use socs?

I was wondeing how you use socs (meaning how to load them into the game). Is it the same as wads?

Yes go to the launcher and press add.Then the little bar at the bottom,change it to all files.Then find the soc.For the console type addfile insertfilenamehere.soc.

You're doing it all wrong if you type in ADDFILE when trying to run a SOC.

Not really Flame, the only difference is that runsoc dosen't work on WADs.

RUNSOC is a command mainly meant to be used by scripts. While it works similar to ADDFILE in the fact that it can add SOC files to the game, it can also activate SOC lumps inside of a loaded WADfile.

Just like SOMETHING.WAD but SOMETHING.SOC
