How do you put fog in levels?

I have seen it done before...
In the Ghouls forest topic, there was a picture of
Ghoul's forest zone with black fog.
So...It might be possible...
 
Fog is broken in this current version. In about 1,500 years when 1.1 comes out, it'll probably happen, unless Mystic and SSN grow to old.
 
That wasn't level based fog, it was an OpenGL only fog effect. User side, not WAD side.

Again, don't make such assumptions.

OpenGL is UNABLE to support per-sector fog. It can only fog the entire level, one color.
 
Actually, JTE did a pretty good job of making OpenGL do fog in place of sector brightness and colored fog in place of colormaps.
