How do you make charicters? how do I start?

Just wondering how I even start making the charicter let allone coloring and giving abilities to?! I know this question is kinda n00bish but I just got Srb2JTE yesterday (Srb2 normal a month ago) And I realy want to make my own *cough*overpowered*cough* heroes!
