How do you make a character WAD?

I've looked on the SRB2 wiki, and even searched google, but I'm still confused on how you make one, if someone could give me some basic instuctions on how to make the sprites and starting the character WAD that would really help!

It's not the best tutorial in the world by any means, but it's what we've got.

Thanks, but for frames for the character, how big is the average frame? And can it be changed?
