I don't know how to prevent bosses and enemies from reaching certain areas (REALLY noticable in the disco room of ERZ2). How?

And why do I keep posting here insted of Ediiting Help? X(

I'll note that it's not 100% foolproof, so don't rely on blockmonsters preventing the enemies from passing. It's just as effective at preventing the enemies from passing as a wall without a thok barrier; if the enemy manages to get moving fast enough, they'll pass right through.

Yay, but now I have another problem. I can't get the Egg capsule to appear when I defeat the boss, nor can I get the level to end anyway.

Like Mystic said, using the flag is not foolproof. Plus, if you'd like to only prevent ground enemies but not flying ones from passing through, it won't work since the flag blocks any enemy from the bottom to the top of the sector.

What I'd do instead, would be to use a Custom FOF with the appropriate floor and ceiling heights, and with the value 45 on the linedef's upper texture on its back sidedef (45 means the FOF is invisible, intangible, and is solid to any enemy thus preventing them from going inside but not the player). Just be sure to make the FOF wall at least 64 fracunits thick, so that no matter the speed of an enemy, he shall not pass.

The linedef flag blocks flying monsters as well, Ricardo. They're just more likely to be going fast enough to push through it, like Sonic thokking through a linedef-based trigger.

Look here http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Egg_Capsule_Creation or just copy it from an official level, but I honestly think you'd learn much more if you took the former one.

I'm sorry but I think you misread what I said. I was referring to situations where you want only ground enemies from being blocked, such as pseudo fences that only block enemies but not the player. However with the use of the flag, flying enemies won't pass through as well (in normal circumstances) since the line extends all the way to the ceiling, thus making it a bit awkward to see buzzes stopping still in the air for no reason.

I already did what it said, but it's not coming up. You don't always need an egg capsule to comple a level.

To be more specific, I made an egg capsule, placed a boss in the same sector (This is not a boss map, the boss is at the end), now to make the level end I have to do what???

Wow, that tutorial needs some update. Nowhere in the article is explained where to use the Egg Trap Capsule sector effect, which is what takes care of ending the level.

Anyway, all you need to do is give that sector effect to the FOF control sector of the top part of the capsule (the yellow button).

...or you could just use a Solid Invisible FOF, with the linedef flag "Effect 2", which simply blocks everything except the player.

Ok, I get all these fancy ways to block enemies already, but the egg capsule is more important now...
All I really want is for the level to end when the boss is defeated. How?

Tag one of the last two boxes on the boss Thing. I think it's the first. And I'm generalizing by saying "boxes" since I can't remember what they are... Object Special? Not sure...

Yeah, it's Object Special. Ambush gives Eggman the spikeballs, and the 5th flag doesn't do anything anymore AFAIK.

The old Multiplayer flag shouldn't even be displayed anymore, because its bit has been eaten by the Z-offset.
