How do you get Sonic.plr Sprites into paint?

Can anyone help me on this?

What? You want to Recolor a Sonic, Hmmm?

Make a copy of the Sonic.plr file, (Copy->Paste) Then renamed the copied sonic.plr file to Sonic.wad
Open up the Sonic.wad in XWE and save the sprites to a random folder and then open up paint and edit them.

how do you copy paste the sprite when your done Recoloring it back in to
the sonic.wad

You don't copy->paste, you lump->import/export
