There's actually some basic information. I believe that here are the prerequisites:
1. Model must be in MD2 format, each model must be a frame for a sprite (eg each frame of running animation is one model file)
2. md2 must be enabled on SRB2 (first you need OpenGL, dunno how to enable it though)
3. I believe you put the MD2 models as sprite lump names in a folder called md2 in the srb2 directory
4. I have no honest clue how texturing works.
