How do I turn the mouse off?

Whenever I go to mouse options I check off all of the optons and make them off.
Then when I try to get out the mouse still moves!
I want to film something with camstudio and i need to get out of the box!
Help?

Turning mouse off only truly kicks in after restarting the game.
