install slade and gimp or any fucking drawing stuff as long you can remove the background
then
d r a w
gibbe them corresponding name like stnd1 for lookin at your v i b e
put them in slade in a new wad(or pk3)
load them and have your game crashing because you need more sprites dumbass

give them corresponding name
load them and have your game crashing because you did not make a soc lump dumbass
m a k e a soc lump
load them and have your game working
publish them in mb
and have DOOD64 refusing it
work more and more
republish
have it released
be happy

step 1 grab slade

step 2 create a new zip archive

step 3 create text lump named S_SKIN and copy sonic's in there and edit it to have different skin name and abilities

step 3.5 save it as a .pk3

step 4 put sprites in afterwards you can follow tutorials on how to name them

step 5 save and release or code or smth

try using paint 3d you know the old paint 3d wiil not remove the backgounrd
