how do i load custum lvls and charactors?

i have the charector, i don't know how to get it on to the game
 
Open the console by hitting the ~ key on your keyboard.
It's just to the left of one.

Type
ADDFILE cheese.wad [enter]

where cheese.wad is the wad file.
Close the console with ~ again.
Play. It should come up automaticly.

If you do a map wrapping, the console will close automatically.
