What interests me the most about this game is modding.
I like modding a lot, and I want to get started.

The best place to start learning how to mod this game is checking out the Wiki, most notably its "Editing" section. The sections about Level design and Custom characters will help you a lot. Also, welcome to SRB2!

please don’t edit srb2.pk3, the game won’t open if you do.

Pretty sure you need Slade if you're making a character mod.

And from one newbie modded to another, don’t get yourself down if it’s not high quality I know my first one was worse than a dumpster fire, in the words of that song from sonic CD “because if you try you can do anything!”

It wouldn’t run on the game at all like I had to completely redo the sprite names and s_skin (I meant to quote cheeseboi)
