How do I edit map save files?

If you start a multiplayer server you can pick whatever level you want. You can also do the devmode command followed by the map command.

If your map pack includes its own gamedata.dat in its header file, you'll need to remove it using SLADE.
If it doesn't, your save data should work just fine.
Check your SRB2 folder and see if any unusual files have appeared.

There is no simple way to do this without manually editing every custom map with custom gamedata you use. It would also become netgame incompatible.
