how do i change the player dta skin

Will you ever leave me alone or find your dam dad?
so when i typed this in the srb2 dussicoin page no one responed becasue they didnt know and then i went to dev and told him about the player dta and basicly he siad that srb2 would crash if i change the player dta so im wandoring if theres away to change the player dta skin with out crashing the game

im trying to figure out a away to do like for example what if i want fsonic/vanilla to be sonic main skin for sonic's player dta:

There are multiple ways you could do this:

1. Create a MAINCFG file that modifies the unlockable parameters, so that regular Sonic is marked to never be unlocked.
2. Create a custom CSS script that replaces regular Sonic with your custom Sonic.
3. Create an addon that overwrites regular Sonic's files.
 
Using SLADE, create either a new WAD or PK3, and then mimic Sonic's actual in-game files using the modded character you wish to replace him with.
 
ok but first im going to actuly google how to make a PK3 fle because now wads are a bit useless sadlly
