How do I chang my characters color in 1 player?

How do I chang my characters color in 1 player? Stupid question, but I REALY want to know?

Changing colors is imossible without devmode.
Type in the devmode command and type colr <1-15>

Actually, it is possible without devmode. Type in the console splitscreen 1 then you'll be able to change your color

You can't without the game thinking it was modified.

For some reason you can't. Not even with devmode. Unless you switch skins of course. If you're Tails and switch to Sonic you'll be orange. Type any color in console to return back to the boring default blue.

What is it woth you people and "admins"? SSN is the one who codes the game, Not Furious, Mystic, or Arrow. You act as if the admininistrators do absolutely everything.

Well, in multiplayer, you can change colors, because playing in multiplayer is almost "non-serious". So you can change colors, but single player is the real character, real story. You're not going to make a red Sonic on his "real story"

Oh, can you? In SINGLE PLAYER? It doesn't work. Unless it's an ooooold version. Maybe older versions have that.
