How did you found sonic?

I saw the AoSTH cartoon back when I was a kid. Not too much time later, I found the "Ultimate Flash Sonic" flash game on the internet, and found out that Sonic is more than just a cartoon character.

I remember seeing a Super Sonic sprite from Sonic 3 in a magazine once and recognized it as Sonic, but I got really mad about how they got so many details "wrong". It was a long time later when I was thinking about that in retrospect after having become a fan of the games that it clicked to me that it was Super Sonic, and not "wrong" at all. It's something I like to laugh at, looking back on it.

My mom was a huge sonic fan and she owned all sega consoles and handed it down to me and my first sonic game was one of the original trilogy ( probably sonic 1)

Sonic Forces is what introduced me to the sonic franchise, then I got sonic mania plus, it used to be one of my favorite games. After all that, I got attached to the franchise pretty much.

Back in 2005 we had a dreamcast, then my first sonic game played was Sonic Adventure 1. I was very addictive to the game until the point to be my favorite franchise of all time even today. my 2nd sonic game was ofc Sonic Robo Blast 2 back in 2009-2010, that was my first time playing this fan game and my first interaction with mods/addons and stuff.
