How can I post my mod?

I made a mod for srb2k and I wanted to post it on the characters subform, but I'm lacking permission in order to do so. Apologies, i'm new, but how do i gain permission in order make threads

You need to post the file in the Submissions forum for it to be judged first. The judges will go over it and make sure it follows the rules and standards for release, including filename conventions.

In my POV, you can post normally, but firstly the addon must be approved by one of the developers or moderators. If the addon is having something illegal or there's something missing, the developer or moderator may reject the addon, suggesting you to make some changes. That's my opinion about it.
