Horizon effect not working correctly in opengl

Im making a mappack! come stop by and check it out
Hey, so when i try to make a FOF stretch out endlessly with the horizon effect (like in dsz) it wont work, atleast not in opengl, in software it does work normally however.
how can i fix this?
 
I don't think the Horizon Effect is an intentional feature that needs fixing.
OpenGL likely has a failsafe for it while Software doesn't.

That's what I would think, at least.

The Horizon Effect is absolutely an intended feature, in fact it's a Linedef Type. https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_type_41

Is the FOF in the skybox?
 
OpenGL currently does not support FoF compatibility with horizon rendering, it is why a lot of maps designed with OpenGL in mind use a regular floor for water that needs to extend infinitely or instead use a type of border that was more common in old versions of the game.

OpenGL in general still supports just a subset of SRB2's rendering features fully. There are reports of a new hardware renderer being worked on, but the landing date is unknown at this point.
