A basic 2D mode level. It's obviously based on the level from Sonic 2, but the level design is different. Still, it has the basics, like lava and blue walls.

Tiny screenshot! Fire spewing pipes and foreground lava-falls. The spring is involved in a little secret involving breakable platforms...

Well it have the sky background from the Sonic 2 Hill Top Zone? That would be nice.

Add some ledges and crags on the walls to give more detail than just a flat surface. Same goes for the lava falling, and even pipes -- cracks, dents, mold, moss...

Nature isn't perfect.
