Nobody is obligated to provide support.
You shouldn't get mad at people when they don't help you with something like this, especially when you give such little information on the problem.

Does HVR throw an error message when it crashes? If so, what does it say?

Common denominator. HVR is pretty much a modified Ultimate Doom Maker or UDM (It doesn't hide this since the title bar still calls it Ultimate Doom Maker v3.0). By looking up your issue on that title found many people who had the very same issue, including on AMD's support page. They load or create a map, it shuts down without an error. One asking for help has a Radeon GPU with OpenGL compatibility but every call for help seems to be with someone with an AMD GPU and an updated driver. Best way to test this theory is to repeat what you did on Vanilla UDM of the same version shown on HVR and see if it shuts down when making a new map. I can't test it since I have NVIDIA.

i tested it and it works just fine, you can check in the issues tab on the HVR Github Repository if you want check.

Thats amazing! The errors won't affect you so don't worry about them too much. As I don't have an AMD driver, all I could really do was look into people who had similar issues with the original UDM or similar considering HVR was a branch of it and found nothing under that name, while making assumptions from that. Glad you managed to figure it out.
