Help with Kartmaker for SRB2K

So I just started to learn how to make custom characters by using Kartmaker but there are some things I could use some help with

1. How can you get rid of blue outlines on the sprites in-game? I tried making the outlines thicker but that didn't seem to work
2. The character's icons always show up as a giant question mark for some reason did I do something wrong? I don't think I did anything wrong
3. Is there a way to make the name of the character longer? I want to name him "Highjinks Boyfriend" but in-game it only shows up as "highjinks"

Any help would be appreciated

Not an expert, but I don't believe character names are allowed to have spaces. Try using an underscore or skipping the space entirely.
