Help! My iTouch went weird

My iPod touch has gone sortof weird. In the iTunes on it, I was downloading some stuff and then it suddenly exited. Also the number over more... (showing downloads) was in the wrong place. I am using fw 3.11 with NO jailbreaks etc. How do I fix the problem - has this happened to anyone else?

Sync your iPod. If that doesn't fix anything, just download stuff via PC iTunes. It sure as heck beats restoring it. That's what you should be doing, anyway. It's much more stable.

If all comes to worst, couldn't you restore the Ipod to its factory setting by plugging it into the PC?
