Help my game came without the mods folder

downloaded the game but it came without a mods folder (also without the logs one but i dont care about that) how do i add mods now?

You can just create the file yourself if you wish. Whenever you join a server, though, a "DOWNLOAD" folder will appear with every addon you've ever downloaded from a server, so you won't have to make one yourself.

I don't have a download folder, the only folder i have is models, also how do i specifically (like with the caps or no caps stuff) name the addons folder

No, you don't have a download folder yet. Whenever you join a server and download the mods from joining that server, the game will generate the folder in its root directory.
You should be able to name the folder as soon as you make it. You can call it whatever you want that pertains to mods. It doesn't need a specific name.

This thought just came to me, but it could be because you hadn't opened the game yet. But I'm glad they appeared now.

I already had opened it, it only appeared after i opened it twice

Naming doesn't matter at all. You can choose any mod as long as it's in the directory for srb2 or any folders within. You could name the folder "sdifgbsklgbfslk" and it'll still work.
