What you guys should also do instead of linking them to the home page of the wiki is to link to the article in question and leave it at that.

I fully agree. However, as it is, in fact, on the main page, Morph makes an excellent point. While we should be as helpful as possible, linking to the main page with the article right there in the middle is fair enough.
