Help Me Please

It is my first day here. I have just downloaded the game and uninstalled everything and when I try to play it loads and stuff then its says "out of frequency range" .....help :(
 
Well, redownload it then.
If the problem persists, take a screen shot of it, so people know what this is.
 
ok i did it still didnt work and when I tried to take a screenshot it looked COMPLETELY different than what was on screen,oh and I could also hear the games music.... :?

SRB2 is in a display mode 320/200 that your monitor doesn't seem to support

edit your config.cfg and look for 'scr_height' and 'scr_width' and change the resolution SRB2 starts to something like 640/400 or 640/480
 
I've heard of this frequency out of range thingy before and got a crappy MSPaint drawing of it and whatnot. Didn't know what to do to help, though. :?

It wont let me edit the config....what program do I need to use to edit it?

OMG i opened it w/ notepad and got it to workthanks tons! :D :P
 
Just what we need. More of the "Shadow" kind. Don't know what that is? Let's just say they need a bit of help in school.
