hamachi problems with srb2

My friend and I want to play srb2 but every time either one of us tries it, the connecting to server bar keeps going and going, so we can't even join as it's stuck in an infinite loop. Anyways of fixing this? Thanks In advance
 
It's not recommended to use Hamachi for SRB2 because it can cause problems in latency and multiple disconnects. I did a similar thing with Radmin a long time ago and I experienced a lot of high ping and bad connectivity problems. The only solution is to port forward and launch a server yourself.
