....yeeeeah no. We've been through this discussion countless times, enough to say SRB2's definitely not moving engine. It's far too late for that at this point in development.

But here's Emscripten if you want to figure out how to port SDL to it! I am not walking anywhere near JavaScript or HTML5 crap under the pretense that it is "good for video games," especially not ports of 20 year old mods, so have fun. https://github.com/kripken/emscripten
 
Patreon is a great method for getting a Sonic fangame funded. You know, if by "funded" you mean "cease and desist'd".

I don't think that we want to do what "Half Life 3" did.
 
Yeah, I'm not even going to entertain this discussion.

No, we are not, nor ever will we, use HTML5 for this game.

I also will say outright that nobody should be profiting off other peoples' copyrighted works. We do SRB2 for free because we love the game. It's a labor of love, not a source of income by any means. We're not taking pay for this game. We're not doing Patreon.
