Game won't save in v2.1.23

I've installed the newest version of the game today (v2.1.23) but apparently that bug that was present in v2.1.22 is still applying to this version. Also every time I open the pause menu and close it there's an error about the config.cfg file.

I tried applying the patch but nothings changed. Can anyone help?

Maybe it could be because of where you installed the game, my first suspicions are the folder your SRB2 is in might be read-only. That would prevent anything being saved to it.

Ah, the location was the problem, I had it directly in the C Drive and moving it to Documents fixed the issue. Thank you kindly.
