Fun facts about Sonic thread!

*GOOFYRAT!*

Gonna be gone a while. I'll be back!
This is a thread designed around facts that many sonic fans might not know. Such as one of my favorite characters having a super form, EGGMAN! CANONICALLY! Let me explain!
Super Eggman is a form that was made by the last remaining Phantom Ruby prototype to replicate a Super State. While in this form, Eggman is capable of flight and bears powers comparable to those of Super Sonic.[1] He is also able to create and control Otherworlds at will, such as turning destroyed skyscrapers in Station Square into multiple copies of Perfect Chaos.

I also have the IDW comic this came from, but read it like once, lmao-

Originally, There was a cancelled Sonic game for the Saturn called Sonic X-treme, It was meant to be the 1st true 3D Sonic game. But unfortunately, it was cancelled and got replaced with a port of 3D Blast. Adventure would later become the first actual 3D Sonic game.

I desparately wish they would finish X-Treme rather than make mediocre Modern Sonic games

This is somehow official

Adventure 1 was the launch title for the Dreamcast, and Adventure 2 was the last game for the Dreamcast

An extension on the last point - Sonic Adventure 2 was actually supposed to be the swan song of Sega as a whole, before receiving a large donation that kept them afloat. It also puts the song "Live and Learn" into perspective.

I fixed a typo, I said Sonic instead of song lol

Huh. Cool. Oh, and continuing to Sega's future, Shadow was supposed to only appear in SA2, but was so popular that they brought him back for Heroes, and he got his own game! (To mixed results.)
