Forwarding ports on my router?

Just Someone
I have a 2wire3800HGV-B, which is not one of the routers listed on the PortForward.com website. Can I get some help? I think this is the reason I have been unable to host a server on the MS.

I have a similar problem with hosting games and instead of creating a new topic, I'd rather ask here:
I have a router, everything should work perfect.
My "internet server" toggle is on "yes", I've forwarded the port 5029 UDP.
I don't see anything left to do.
Problem is... people still won't see me on the masterserver.
The default masterserver is srb2.servegames.org:28900 whereas other people don't have that ":28900" thing. I thought this was supposed to be the port I should open, so I did it. Still doesn't work. Cue? Any advice?

Check the routers firewall if it has one and when opening the port make sure its to your ip and not to any and also some routers may say inbound and outbound services so make sure you open it on both.

that's a typo that came with srb2 if that isn't the address it's supposed to be. please tell me what the right one is.
PS: I didn't change a thing about that address.
And one more thing. When I start to host, it says that my server has been registered on the master server. Every single time I start hosting. Is that supposed to happen?

problem is: the masterserver like some servers and doesn't like some... which he likes and which he doesn't you can't tell, but many of us can't host no matter what they do.

That didn't make alot of sense but srb2 only displays playable servers and not every server, type listserv and see what it comes up with

that actually did make sense because I just told you what others tell me.
ok, anyway, my server appears on the listserv list but not on the MS list.
And you even can't join my server using the IP joining option.

Well its a port/firewall problem

well, would somebody please care to explain that?
I've done everything I could (or at least which I think I could).
I've opened 2 different ports, times I've even disabled the firewall, I've forwarded the ports I opened, I've sometimes even turned off my whole protection system (whatever could carry a pitchfork). Nothing worked.
Any (new) suggestions?

oh, reinstalling srb2 is one of the stuff I already did. Still no luck.
What do you mean by masterserver launcher? You mean the srb2 launcher?

you can see my server on the listserv list and also on this MSL list.
But you still can't join. That is so weird!

[BUMP] I wonder how this topic suddenly turned silent.
All right, here's what I've done in order to get this working.

Got my internet server toggle on "yes"

Enabled and forwarded both port 5029 and port 28900

Even manually confirmed the internet server using the console

I guess I also waited long enough for somebody to join.
please, tell me what's wrong, cuz this gets annoying.

Let me know when I've double-posted enough.
