FoF floating platform help

AAAAAAAAAAAAA
I'm trying to get a floating platform to work(the FoFs that raise up and down), but every time I tag the sector that's supposed to be the FoF, and start the game, it crashes! help!

you need to have 3 control sectors linked together - three squares. The left square is the floor/cieling hieghts of the block at the highes point of it's cycle, the middle square is the hieght that it starts at, and the right square is the one that determines the height when it is at it's lowest point. Tag the middle sector to a linedef on the right square(the line that borders the middle square), and give that line the effect, "activate floating platform". Then, take one of the non-bordering lines on the middle square, and give it the FOF effect you want, and tag it to the sector you want the FOF to be in.

And that is how we make vertically moving FOFs! Any questions?

FOFs crash the game whenever they try to move through the floor or ceiling of the sector. So be sure you set their movement correctly!

Another question:

The player seems to go through the bottom of the FoF when I stand under it, which special do I set the FoF to make it so the player can get crushed while under the FoF?

That's 25, BTW.

O rly? I was under the impression that that wasn't the case whatsoever. Case in point: lava/slime going up and down in some old Match stages, Mystic Realm, etc...

Maybe only in OpenGL...
