Floor Editing???

I have mastered the art of editing regular side textures but floor textures go crazy. They turn out all scrambled up. Can someone help me.

Flats are raw bitmaps. There's probably an editor you can use to put them in with, but here's what I do:

1. Flip the image vertically.
2. Save a bmp file (64x64, 128x128, or 256x256 in SRB2's palette).
3. Remove the first 1078 bytes of the file using a hex editor.
4. Insert the file using LumpMod. It doesn't matter what section it's in; you can just put it at the end of the wad file.

Do you mean by replacing the textures already in there, or by actually adding in new ones... somehow...?

Well, for flats, don't bother replacing textures, that's no fun. It's very easy to just make new ones.

Pay no heed to the pointless yammering of these mortals; The problem can be easily remedied by carefully applying a hammer to your PC.

Uh, yeah, I don't know... =P

On a slightly more on-topic note, is that a new sky in the background, or am I seeing things?

Take a screenshot and rip the palette out of the PCX file. =P
