I think this screencap speaks for itself.
Using SRB2 2.1.7, as you can see in the name thing up in the top-left corner. I used the "patch" version, since I already had SRB2 2.1.
For people who don't know the FlipCam variable: When upside down in third-person, it... well, flips the camera. But in first-person, the view is flipped if you're upside down, no matter if you have the variable on or off. At least that's what it did in 2.1.6. In 2.1.7, it does nothing. Even in first-person the view isn't flipped.
Though I can only confirm that for OpenGL, as I don't use Software mode. Oh, and I'm using the resolution 1280x720, if that matters.
