I liked FLCL. The style was unique, and the entire show was very random.

Not agreed. That show was beyond random, it was just plain stupid.

Actually, the show is more then it seems. It is just a coming-of-age story, and everything is a metaphor. Discovering the hidden meanings in the show, and seeing how they all fit together, is the true beauty of the show.
