Rukario

Metal Gear Mass-Murderer
This is technically my second map, but d-day.wad was an utter PHAIL. This on the other hand, is my first decent map.

Updates are-
Rings on the Brawl Beach
Sand Strip got removed as it was causing GFX errors
Red Springs changed to Yellow when possible
Armagedden shield actually sits on the FOF now
Less Air Bubbles, and some in the main factory's sea (the one near Brawl Beach)

No tree roots yet.

Screenies are here. They sort of apply for both versions. =P

Overview using red water spring.

Forest Factory is a forest in the middle (as you'd expect) with three factories around. In the forest I was hoping for expert players to fight on the treetops and monitor bounce the bottom when needing items. Of course, for the less-experienced or people who can't be bothered treetop fighting, theres rings on the bottom and those monitors spoke about earlier.

This is a Match/Tag map and uses map91. Might have updates later.

Finally, download link (UPDATED) -

Ok. here are the problems:
Tree's need a bit more details (for example roots)
In certain parts there are too many monitors bunched together, space them out more and get rid of some.
A bit bland in certain area
Indoor ares are a bit small
There are too many air bubbles close together
Some red springs send you too high, change those ones to yellow springs
This level needs more weapon rings.

Not bad, but it could use improvement.
I'd give it a 6/10.

Thanks for the feedback. ^^
Those monitors where under the trees weren't they? Well I was hoping for monitor bouncing there. ^^;

This is V.1. I'll upload V.2 when it's done.

Ok, let's see what you need to fix:
There are too many monitors in the factories, and one of them has barely anything in it.
Still not many weapon rings.
The underwater area with the two factories has nothing but air bubbles (al least you got rid of a load).
You made that wall too big (i just noticed). in order to pass it as sonic you need to hit a red spring underwater and there are none underwater on the other side.
Like i said before, trees need details.
Needs some more improvement, but it has potential. keep working.
if you want help, just ask.

6.5/10

I want to do this by myself. Kind of a incentive that I can make levels.

I hid Eggmen in those monitors. But I myself think that theres a bit too many.

There's 4 weapon rings. Does there need to be 5 or 7?

I may put a secret area in the water factory if I expand the thok barrier. But then it'll be a pretty linear map.

The wall has a small entryway and also theres a red spring in the channel over on the main factory side. The entryway counts for both sides, too.

Trees don't have detail yet. I might finish them for the final cut, along with a sea and a few mini-ships.
