First person view question

Does anyone know how to change the appearance of the aiming reticle when in first person? Or how to turn it on and off. My screen shows this green L shape and it’s not exactly the easiest to aim with.

I think there's a menu option for it somewhere, but you can also use the crosshair console command. Check the wiki for more info.

Type "crosshair 1" into the console to change it to the default. Type "crosshair 0" to disable it altogether.
