Firefox 4 acts strange when middle-clicking

What the middle click used to do before I started using Firefox 4 was open links in new tabs and enable AutoScroll. I liked it this way. Now, it triggers some sort of stupid zooming control, and I'm having a harder time doing everything now. How do I get things to be like they used to?

Not all mices have a scroll wheel.
Anyway:

Try Tool Menu, Options, Advanced, Generals and Disable "Use autoscrolling"

and install "Middle Click To Go Back" Extension

Did both. It didn't make a difference.

Weird, What you describing works for me, and auto-scrolling is checked!
Are you sure your CRTL button isn't jammed or something?
