How can i change the pitch or tone for the final lap tone in the LUA?

Is it intentional that the final lap music sometimes swaps to a sped up version of the course's alternate song instead of the song it was before that final lap started? Don't know if it applies to vanilla courses or not but definitely had it happen with addon courses.
