file doesn't exist

For some reason, when I try to add a wad while hosting a server, it says, "file doesn't exist". So I have to verify someone to do it. Any answers why?

The wad must be in the same exact folder as SRB2, not even in folders within the SRB2 folder. Other times, the wad is just picky, it happens to me occasionally.

So I guess I have to empty the DOWNLOAD folder daily and anything else that comes in a folder. (just when I was getting things orginized into their sepperate folders, D : )

Objection! I can add WADs from sub-folders, it just takes more time to load.

I believe the command string to add from subfolders is

 ADDFILE (SUBFOLDERNAME)\(FILENAME)

No, just do the file name. SRB2 then checks in its root folder, then each of the subfolders in alphabetical order, and while it's checking each subfolder, it checks each subfolder's subfolder in alphabetical order, and so on.

you sure you're talking about adding files while hosting a server?

I'm sure it would work exactly the same for adding WADs while hosting, but that data is from single player.
