favorite type of music

I was wondering what everyone's favorite type of music is and (whether you know what I mean or not) How does it shape who you are?

Just a note: I prefer more modern rock music more than any of the other choices. :)

I would have put more but sorry, this is a school project(sort of :? ) It is a program by this AVA group(Association for Visual Artists) and I thought this place would be a good place for a survey or poll.
