I CANNOT get this to work in Software. I can't test in OpenGL because of how lame this computer is. Does this feature work with OpenGL? Every time I use it in Software Rendering, it makes the affected sectors pitch black, no matter what I do.

Why dont you split the sector into how much you want and do this

first ssector = 255
second sector = 224
third sector = 208
etc.
and just keep going! simple

Um, this is a linedef executor... Either way, I don't want to have it fade jerkily like in TEI, and as far as I know, those increments would still be noticeable for OpenGL users. I sadly have no access to an OpenGL-compatible computer anymore, so I can't tell. Still, this linedef is provided as a convenient way to fade the light level; I'd rather not be forced to use Upper Unpegged Linedef Executors for this.

Ok then pm me the thing your having trouble with. I can play in opengl
