Heh... this is the first 'proper' Xtreme topic I've made. I'll soon post screenshots. The first demo will be released when the first level is made, when some of the music is inserted, and when about... 10 or 20 match levels are made. By the way, if you have a wad that you'd be willing to give for Xtreme (Match, Tag, Chaos or CTF), then please give with music seperate. Since I'm not giving out the graphics, I'll change them when I recieve the file... (even though it's SRB2-Compatible, no new levels will use them... Pointless, eh?).

Graphics: JGZ, Metal and Casino graphics are done-for-now.
Levels: I have two M/T/C/F levels done. JGZ1 is about halfway-done.
When First Demo will be released: Tommorow. (I like this pun better than the 'SRB2: When it's done.'... So sue me... ... *loses all cash... Noes!*).
Screenshots Done: 0%. Zilch. Zero. Nothing. Not a thing. Not one. Not two. Not seven point five. Not one-hundred and thirty times three divided by seventeen!... You get the picture...0/10...

Leave future-comments and maps at the entrance. Don't let the door kick you on the way in... or perhaps out.
 
Cool, I guess... I really don't get it, but I'm guessing it's an edited version of SRB2 with new levels. When the demo comes out, I guess I'll try it out.
 
Accurate in what way? Level design, hell no. Textures/Flats, hell yes. Enemies, Xtreme enemies, random levels though... O.o... No, this is not a version of SRB2 with new levels. This is a version of SRB2 with new levels, graphics, enemies, items (yush, springs be items), and new bonuses... Palmtree Panic's going to be one of them...

Yes, but I haven't been double-posting and all I've been doing is answering these guy's questions... in other news, JGZ1 is almost finished. When it's done I'll post some screenshots.
 
there's no point on seeing the screenshots if the wad's done. unless you want other people to see it first instead of downloading, then you shouldnt.
 
Done? You mean level 1 is done. There's at least 8 levels in total, without boss levels, (looooooooooooong levels...). There's also a ton of secrets, along with about 25 easter eggs to find per level.
 
Umm. I think you can only have a total of 32 easter eggs spanning the entire game....
 
Yes, even with changes. You run out of bits on a 32bit integer. You can try declaring "foundeggs" as a 'long long', but I don't know if that will let you add more (64) or not.

Otherwise, you have to alter the entire system for how found eggs are kept track of.
 
You might want an "unsigned long long" for the 64 eggs idea (or an "unsigned int" for the 32). I'm not sure that messing around with the sign bit is totally kosher.
 
Yes, it's kosher. Just mind how you do a right shift. Otherwise, you can fudge with it just like an unsigned.
